Notes from Our Service Experience

The following reflects what we have learned while supporting international patients. Appointment arrangements, services and fees can vary; please confirm current details with the hospital.

01

Plan ahead for appointments

Based on our experience, appointments at the International Medical Center are best arranged in advance, and the hospital is very popular with both local and overseas patients. The main hospital app and on-site registration do not offer an English interface, and counters may not have bilingual staff, so overseas patients usually find the International Medical Center the smoother route.

02

Consider whether the International Medical Center suits you

In our experience, foreign patients are generally not required to use an International Medical Center, though hospital policies may vary. Fees there are often substantially higher than at standard outpatient clinics. In return, it may offer dedicated consultation rooms, shorter waits, longer appointments and, in some cases, the ability to use international health insurance. For patients travelling alone, the additional support may make the visit easier.

03

A more cost-conscious route with coordination

For self-funded patients seeking a more economical option, we can help arrange care through the same channels used by local patients. Based on our experience, even after adding our coordination fee, the overall cost can be considerably lower than using the International Medical Center, while including advance appointment coordination, bilingual escort support and English medical reports.
